A Psalm for the Righteous Who Suffer Persecution

Why aren’t we under the kind of attacks that David faced?
I. We’re Defeated and Accept It
A. We’ve been beaten so long that we just line up for our next beating
B. We’ve given up trying to live a separated life. “It’s no use.”
II. We’re Desensitized and Don’t Know It
A. The ATTACKS are there, we just don’t recognize them as attacks
1. TV,
2. Education,
3. Evolution,
4. Foul language,
5. Idolatry,
6. God haters,
7. False teaching,
8. blasphemy,
9. nakedness,
10. perversion
III. We’ve Deserted and Don’t Care
A. No one is shooting at us because we are “OUT OF UNIFORM”
B. Civil war battles. The guy carrying the flag ALWAYS GETS SHOT. The next soldier picked up the flag, knowing how dangerous it was.
