I. Jesus, Our KING. Psalm 110:1-3
A. “The LORD says to my Lord”

B. David was inspired by the Holy Spirit. (Mat 22:43)YHWY spoke to the
MESSIAH before David.
C. JESUS is David’s Messiah!
D. Jesus is eternal!
E. YHWH’s Plan, all enemies subdued under Jesus feet. (Hebrews 2:14-15) "Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death."

A. Represents the People.

B. Intercedes for the people

III. Jesus, Our WARRIOR
We are UNITED with Christ
His VICTORY is OUR VICTORY
A. His Resurrection is our resurrection. (Romans 6:5) "If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection."
B. His holiness is our holiness. (Philippians 3:9) "and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith."
C. His power is our power. (2 Corinthians 12:9) "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."
D. His mind is our mind. (1 Corinthians 2:16) "“For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ."
E. His Father is our Father. (John 17:21) "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
F. His Life is our life. (Colossians 3:4) "When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."
G. His Kingdom is our Kingdom.
