I. The World God Created Does Not Worship Him
A. Throughout the PSALMS, many Psalms about Israel’s oppressors
B. Many lament Psalms about the individuals who oppress God’s servants
C. From CREATION until now, the world has been in rebellion.
1. " As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient." (Ephesians 2:1-2, NIV)
2. "Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out." (John 12:31, NIV)

IV. What will be Accomplished?
A. Christ will rule on David’s throne
B. The “times of the Gentiles” will cease "They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." (Luke 21:24, NIV)
C. Creation will be restored
D. The redeemed will rule
E. The promises to Israel will be fulfilled
F. Righteousness will be enforced. "For this is what the Lord says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees." (Isaiah 66:12, NIV)
